Vehicle suitability for loading and transport

4. Pricing & Payments

5. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellations or changes to orders must be made as early as possible.
Special orders, fabricated items, processed materials, or custom cuts may not be eligible for cancellation, refund, or return once processing has commenced.

6. Customer Collection, Loading & Site Safety
Customers entering our premises acknowledge that Bargain Steel Cash And Carry operates an active industrial steel yard and warehouse environment containing forklifts, trucks, cranes, machinery, heavy materials, sharp products, welding activities, and other potentially hazardous operations.
Customers agree to:
Follow all staff instructions and safety directions
Remain within designated customer areas
Wear appropriate footwear and clothing
Exercise reasonable care while onsite
Keep children supervised at all times
Customers who load goods themselves do so entirely at their own risk.
Customers are solely responsible for:
Load restraint compliance
Vehicle suitability and legal compliance
Safe transport of materials
Securing goods after loading
Where assistance with loading is provided by our staff, responsibility for transport compliance and load security remains with the Customer once goods leave our premises.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
Personal injury
Death
Vehicle damage
Load movement or failure
Property damage arising from customer loading or transport activities
7. Safety & Customer Responsibility
Customers agree to:
Handle steel products safely and appropriately
Follow relevant safety guidelines when transporting, storing, fabricating, or using materials
Ensure products are suitable for their intended purpose
Obtain independent engineering or professional advice where required
We are not responsible for misuse, incorrect application, unsafe handling, improper installation, or structural failure arising from customer use of supplied materials.
8. Product Nature & Limitations
Bargain Steel Cash And Carry supplies general steel materials and fabrication services for construction, industrial, agricultural, and manufacturing purposes.
Unless explicitly agreed in writing, we do not provide:
Engineering certification
Structural design services
Project supervision
Installation services
Compliance certification
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring supplied materials meet project specifications, engineering requirements, and regulatory standards.
Reasonable industry tolerances apply to all steel products, fabrication work, cutting, drilling, and processing services.
9. Delivery
Any delivery times provided are estimates only and may vary due to operational, supplier, weather, traffic, staffing, or freight circumstances outside our control.
Customers must ensure delivery sites are safe, accessible, and legally suitable for unloading.
We reserve the right to refuse unsafe deliveries.
10. Returns & Refunds
Custom fabricated, processed, drilled, welded, cut, or specially ordered materials are generally non-returnable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Standard stocked items may only be accepted for return:
At our discretion
Within a reasonable timeframe
In unused and resalable condition
With proof of purchase
Restocking fees may apply.
11. Privacy & Information Handling
